Cath Lab Technologist Opportunity
Seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role involves performing a variety of complex cardiovascular procedures with a focus on patient safety and high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including LHC, RHC, TAVR, Watchman, Impella, ECMO, and balloon pump deployments.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment such as Merge Charting, GE Fluoro, Phillips, and Boston Sci IVUS, FFR, and Impella systems.
- Document all procedures accurately within the Meditech system, maintaining compliance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during procedures.
- Provide on-call coverage as required, responding promptly to emergent procedural needs.
- Maintain current certifications (ACLS, BLS, RCIS or ARRT) and stay updated on best practices and new technology.
Qualifications:
- Require at least 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience, with proficiency in procedures like TAVR, Watchman, IMPella, and ECMO.
- Hold valid ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Possess RCIS or ARRT credential.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills and the ability to operate advanced cardiac imaging equipment.
- Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
