Cath Lab RN Opportunity
Seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN with experience in TAVR and Mitral Clip procedures to perform complex interventional cardiac interventions efficiently. The role involves supporting a dedicated cardiac cath lab team in a high-volume, technologically advanced facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform TAVR, Mitral Clip, and other complex cardiac procedures with proficiency.
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, including carotid stenting, PFOs, Watchman, and TMVR.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures by adhering to clinical protocols.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced equipment such as Shockwave, Laser, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and surgical staff to optimize procedural outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR systems, including MacLab and Meditech.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac cath lab settings.
- Demonstrated experience in TAVR, Mitral Clip, and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Proficiency in handling advanced cardiac and radiological equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience with EP/ABL procedures is preferred.
