Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist
Seeking a qualified Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy hospital setting. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cath Lab, supporting patient care and ensuring procedural success.
Responsibilities:
- Execute diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab following physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Operate Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging equipment with accuracy and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including RNs and physicians, to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and dress code requirements, including scrub attire in royal blue.
- Handle on-call duties, including weekends and every other weekday, as scheduled.
- Maintain detailed documentation within EMR systems and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Texas State RN License or valid compact license.
- Possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Demonstrate at least one year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.
- Have strong knowledge of structural heart procedures and clinical trial involvement preferred.
- Be self-motivated with a team-focused attitude.
