Cardiac And Electrophysiology Specialist

Provides specialized cardiac and electrophysiology (EP) diagnostic and interventional services in a hospital setting. Assists in complex procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes under the supervision of medical staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with specialized cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment such as GE, Phillips, Carto, MACLab, and Cardiolab systems.
  • Prepare patients and maintain sterile techniques to ensure procedural success and safety.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and responses throughout procedures, reporting any anomalies promptly.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and equipment usage in electronic medical records.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards, including BLS, ACLS, and radiation safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Current valid ARRT (R), RCIS, or RCES certification.
  • Minimum 6 months of recent acute care hospital experience in cardiac cath lab or EP procedures.
  • Must possess BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and interventional techniques.
  • Skilled in operating and troubleshooting complex medical imaging and procedural equipment.
  • Ability to adapt, work reliably, and collaborate effectively within a team.
