Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist specialized in Cath Lab/EP to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced cardiac care environment. The candidate will support adult to geriatric patient populations and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures adhering to clinical protocols.
- Operate and maintain specialized imaging and laboratory equipment within the Cath Lab/EP setting.
- Monitor patient vitals and responses during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Document procedural details accurately in electronic health records systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and team members to coordinate patient care.
- Comply with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Cath Lab or EP procedures.
- Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCI RCIS is required.
- Maintain active state licensure if applicable.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems.
- Exhibit strong technical and critical thinking skills within trauma Level II environments.
