Cath Lab Tech Opportunity
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment. The individual will support cardiology teams by delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring procedural success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare and operate monitoring equipment, assisting physicians during complex catheterizations.
- Maintain sterile techniques and ensure the cleanliness of the cath lab environment.
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures, promptly addressing any issues.
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records using EPIC.
- Comply with radiation safety standards and manage radiation badge requirements.
Qualifications:
- Possess 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting.
- Hold current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process).
- Maintain an active South Carolina license (SCRQSA) or ability to obtain it.
- Have a radiation badge, provided by the agency.
- Demonstrate proficiency in coronary diagnostics, interventions, monitoring, and scrubbing.
