Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Cath Lab/EP Technologist to provide expert support during complex cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures. The candidate will assist with device placements, left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, and peripheral interventions, ensuring optimal patient care and procedure success.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up cath lab equipment and tools for scheduled procedures.
- Assist physicians during catheterization, device placement, and other interventional procedures.
- Monitor patient status and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Document clinical data accurately using Altera or similar charting systems.
- Ensure all laboratory and diagnostic tests are completed within required timeframes.
- Comply with travel and licensing requirements, including mandatory drug screening protocols.
Qualifications:
- Hold ARRT or RCIS certification.
- Possess at least 2 years of experience in cath lab or EP procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in left/right heart cath, PCI, peripheral, device placement, and renal cases.
- Have travel experience and flexibility to work 12-15 days per month.
- Maintain current license and submitted application documentation.
- Be available to complete lab procedures within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
