Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified EP Lab Tech for a 13-week contract at a busy electrophysiology department. The technician will support complex procedures and operate specialized equipment within a fast-paced cardiac electrophysiology lab.
Responsibilities:
- Operate electrophysiology mapping systems and associated equipment during procedures.
- Assist with ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart interventions.
- Ensure adherence to unit policies, safety standards, and dress codes, including donning provided scrubs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members including nurses, PCTs, and physicians to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (Meditech).
- Support ongoing unit operations and adapt to changing daily priorities.
- Valid RCIS, RCES, and ARRT certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of cath lab or electrophysiology scrub experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with electrophysiology equipment and procedures.
- Strong team player with flexible and adaptable attitude.
- Ability to work full shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Prior experience in an electrophysiology or cath lab setting preferred.
