Tech Anesthesia

n Job Summary:n
n Supports anesthesia operations through maintenance of anesthesia equipment, assisting with pressure line insertions, and managing supply inventories. Works closely with medical staff to ensure clinical tasks are performed efficiently and safely under supervision.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia machines and related monitoring equipment to ensure optimal functionality.n
• n Assist anesthesia staff during pressure line insertion and monitoring procedures.n
• n Prepare and assemble supplies, ensuring all necessary equipment is sterile and operational.n
• n Perform routine clinical tasks with limited complexity, adhering to established protocols.n
• n Collaborate with staff and vendors to uphold product quality while controlling costs.n
• n Document equipment maintenance and clinical support activities appropriately.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Possess a high school diploma or GED; associate’s or technical degree preferred.n
• n Hold current BLS certification through an approved provider.n
• n Experience in a healthcare setting, with at least one year as an anesthesia technician preferred.n
• n Certified as an Anesthesia Technician (preferred).n
• n Demonstrate knowledge of anesthesia equipment and clinical procedures involving pressure lines and monitoring systems.n
• n Show ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.n
