Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Teamcenter Solutions Architect to support enterprise PLM initiatives and deliver scalable Teamcenter solutions for complex customer environments. The Teamcenter Solutions Architect will serve as a senior technical advisor, partnering directly with customers to define requirements, develop solution architectures, establish project scope, and guide implementation teams. This is a remote position with travel.
Responsibilities of the Teamcenter Solutions Architect:
- Lead the design and architecture of Teamcenter solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and integration with enterprise systems
- Define solution scope, project requirements, technical approaches, and implementation roadmaps
- Partner directly with customers to understand business objectives and translate requirements into scalable Teamcenter solutions
- Design Teamcenter workflows, processes, data models, and system configurations based on customer requirements
- Develop technical design documentation to guide implementation and deployment teams
- Guide the extension and customization of Teamcenter functionality while balancing technical requirements, constraints, and best practices
- Establish and enforce Teamcenter configuration, deployment, and solution architecture standards
- Provide technical guidance to implementation teams throughout the solution lifecycle
- Align Teamcenter deployments, upgrades, and enhancements with long-term customer technology strategies
- Identify technical and architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide expert-level guidance for troubleshooting complex Teamcenter issues
- Make high-level technical decisions related to system configuration, architecture, tools, and technology
- Provide guidance on advanced Teamcenter configuration and customization, including workflows, handlers, processes, and data models
- Collaborate with third-party service providers and technical partners to ensure successful project delivery
- Support the development and mentorship of technical resources across customer engagements
- Communicate technical solutions, project processes, and progress to customers, project managers, and internal stakeholders
- Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend opportunities to improve Teamcenter environments and broader enterprise ecosystems
- Partner with implementation teams to ensure customer requirements are effectively translated into deployed solutions
Qualifications for the Teamcenter Solutions Architect:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience in PLM will be considered
- 5+ years of experience implementing and/or supporting Siemens Teamcenter solutions
- Strong experience with Teamcenter workflows, handlers, and SOA
- Strong experience with Teamcenter configuration and BMIDE
- Experience defining Teamcenter solutions based on complex business requirements
- Experience working directly with customers in a consulting, professional services, or solution architecture environment
- Strong understanding of software development principles and application lifecycles
- Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements and solution designs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to multiple levels of an organization
- Ability to collaborate with implementation teams and leverage technical resources across areas of expertise
- Strong understanding of advanced Teamcenter processes and how data and workflows move between systems
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple customer priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of experience supporting engineering and/or manufacturing processes related to product design and development
- Experience with Teamcenter Multisite
- Experience with Teamcenter Dispatcher
- Experience developing complex Teamcenter workflows and data models
- Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment
- Experience supporting enterprise PLM transformations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Compensation for the Teamcenter Solutions Architect:
- Salary: $160,000 - $210,000
