Victory Disability is hiring experienced SSDI Operations Managers to lead teams, manage complex case flow, and ensure high-quality execution across a large, fast-moving caseload.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands SSDI deeply and can manage people, workflow, and quality under volume.
What This Role Owns
SSDI Operations Managers are responsible for people, performance, and execution, not just supervision.
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead and support a team of SSDI case managers
- Set clear expectations around workload, quality, and responsiveness
- Monitor productivity, backlog, and case progression
- Coach underperformers and develop strong performers
- Handle escalated client and case issues
Case Flow & Operational Execution
- Ensure cases move efficiently through IA, Recon, and Hearing stages
- Identify bottlenecks and intervene early
- Maintain compliance with SSA requirements and internal standards
- Partner with QA to address recurring errors or gaps
- Balance speed with quality in a high-volume environment
Quality & Judgment
- Review work for accuracy, completeness, and sound judgment
- Provide real-time feedback and correction
- Train team members on edge cases and exceptions
- Ensure consistent handling of complex SSDI scenarios
- 5+ years of hands-on SSDI experience (required)
- Prior experience leading or mentoring SSDI case managers
- Strong understanding of SSA processes, timelines, and documentation
- Comfortable managing volume and prioritizing work
- Direct, calm communicator who handles issues without drama
- Able to make judgment calls, not just follow scripts
