Level I Teaching Assistant Special Education
The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a Level I Teaching Assistant Special Education position. The successful candidate will perform the following:
Engage with colleagues during staff training and learning opportunities
Provide behavioral interventions as determined by BIP Collect and input data collection for BIPs.
Support whole group, a small group, and 1:1 instruction
Work as a contributing member of a team
Utilize appropriate behavior management techniques
Perform all responsibilities in a manner that guarantees the safety of our students
Assist in the arrival and dismissal of students
Support the delivery of instruction using district-wide curriculum
Job Qualifications
NYS Certification is required at the time of application.
