Teaching Assistant
The Glens Falls City School District has anticipated openings for a 10-month, 6.5 hour-per-day Teaching Assistant.
General Responsibilities:
- The responsibility of the Teaching Assistant is to provide a structured learning experience and atmosphere in the classrooms assigned.
- Teaching Assistants will be expected to cover in the teacher's absence and provide structured learning experience.
- Specific duties include: assisting with activities, supervising the children, maintaining the classroom and other areas, assisting in developing good health standards and appropriate social habits, and filling in for other staff as needed.
