Teaching Assistant - School Counseling

Compensation and Benefits: As per the Gouverneur Education Association contract.
Responsibilities and Duties: Assist professional staff in working with students and their families in resolving attendance, learning, behavioral, or other educational related problems. This work is performed under the general supervision of a guidance counselor and social worker.
Job Qualifications: Teaching Assistant certification. Preference to candidates with a bachelor's degree or associate's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field and/or experience in a human services agency working with youth.
