Teachers Aide
A dedicated and dependable Teachers Aide to support classroom instruction, foster student engagement, and contribute to a positive, inclusive academic environment. The Teacher Aide will work closely with faculty and staff to assist students, maintain classroom order, and provide essential support to teachers.
Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering instructional content and academic activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, reinforcing lessons and promoting understanding.
- Support teachers in preparing materials, setting up technology, and organizing classroom resources.
- Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, and during school events.
- Assist in maintaining student records, tracking attendance, and managing classroom logistics.
- Promote a respectful, structured, and supportive classroom environment in line with the school's values.
- Help implement individual support plans for students with unique learning needs.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and act in accordance with school policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in education or related fields preferred.
- Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.
- Ability to take direction, adapt to a dynamic classroom environment, and work collaboratively with faculty.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPI and or TCI training a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Rate of pay $18-$20 depending on experience.
