Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Special Education Teacher in supporting student learning and therapy services.
• Help implement curriculum activities aligned with Massachusetts Frameworks.
• Monitor and report on student progress during evaluations and reviews.
• Provide direct personal care (eating, toileting, hygiene) for assigned students.
• Support students during community outings, transportation, and therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with classroom organization.
• Ensure safety during activities, including CPR, First Aid, and crisis intervention procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance or lifting equipment.
• Physical stamina to stand, kneel, squat, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Willingness to undergo training in CPR, First Aid, and crisis management.
