Teacher Aide Positions
The Cooperstown Central School District anticipates having one or more full-time Teacher Aide positions available for the school year. The number of positions and building assignments are currently to be determined. Successful candidates must be available Monday through Friday when school is in session. Teacher Aides work under the direction of a teacher and assist students, including students with special needs, with classroom activities and daily routines. Candidates should possess the ability to establish positive relationships with students and staff, maintain confidentiality and appropriate discipline, exercise tact and good judgment, and become familiar with classroom procedures. Some assignments may require knowledge or experience in a particular area. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma. Certification is not required. Position: Full-time, 10-month Location: To be determined Salary: $20.74 per hour Benefits: In accordance with the Service Unit Contract
