Teacher - 3rd Grade

Job Title

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university. At least one year of student teaching or approved internship. Valid Texas certification with required endorsements for subject/level assigned. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned.
• Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policy, and administrative regulations.
• Cooperate with other staff members in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.
• Create environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Use technologies in the teaching/learning process.
• Keep informed of and comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies.
• Maintain professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents, and community members.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Term of Service: 187 days.
