Tax Supervisor / Manager

Tax Manager | Future Equity Partner | Farmington, CT (Onsite)

Gpac is partnering with a well-respected local CPA firm in Farmington, CT seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team and move into an equity partnership within two years as a senior partner transitions toward retirement.

What You'll Do:

• Manage client engagements for business, partnership, and individual tax compliance & planning
• Review complex returns and provide advisory guidance
• Assist clients with financial statement preparation and related support
• Lead and mentor staff in a hands-on, team-oriented environment
• Help drive firm growth and operations with a path to equity

What You'll Bring:

• CPA required (or nearly complete)
• M.S. in Taxation preferred
• 15+ years of public accounting experience
• Comfortable with a consistent tax season workload (~55 hrs/wk)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
