Tax Senior Manager - Private Client Services

Position

EisnerAmper seeks a Tax Senior Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. The role requires overseeing multiple client engagements, driving business development, marketing, and recruitment, while providing strong leadership and fostering professional growth within the team. The position offers a hybrid work model with flexible office locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of tax professionals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while prospecting for new business opportunities.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra‑high net‑worth individuals and families, with emphasis on clients in the financial services sector.
• Deliver innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions; serve as primary reviewer of complex tax returns.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, staff, and external vendors.
• Provide training, supervision, and performance evaluation for staff members.
• Travel locally to client sites as needed.
• Actively seek new client relationships and participate in client or potential client seminars.
• Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and apply new knowledge to client engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts and share knowledge.
• Hold self and direct reports accountable for achieving developmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent field.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing compliance and consulting services to high‑net‑worth individuals.
• 8+ years of specialty tax compliance experience focusing on complex technical matters for individuals and businesses.
• CPA, IRS Enrolled Agent, or JD credential required.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Taxation or related discipline.
• Preferred: Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business.
• Preferred: Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.
