I’m partnering with a growing, entrepreneurial CPA firm in Chicago to hire a Tax Senior for its business tax team. This is an opportunity to work closely with business owners, gain direct access to partners, and see how your work influences the decisions clients make.

The firm combines a hands-on, smaller-team environment with real flexibility. The expectation is straightforward: take ownership, deliver quality work, and communicate well. You’ll have autonomy in how you manage your schedule and support from leadership as you take on more responsibility.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and review business tax returns and supporting workpapers.
• Work directly with clients to understand their businesses, resolve questions, and keep engagements moving.
• Support tax planning and identify opportunities to provide advice beyond compliance.
• Take ownership of assignments and work closely with partners on technical and client matters.
• Support junior team members through review, guidance, and coaching.
