The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic senior tax associate to join our team, someone who is proficient in managing tax operations. This critical role involves overseeing the planning, scheduling, preparation, research, and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for both individuals and businesses. The Expectations Help prepare, review, and complete individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns Assist with tax planning and preparation Attend client meetings in a support role Participate in cash flow planning/estate planning/cash management/balance sheet planning Support the client services and administrative teams as needed/requested Based on business need, this role is to be performed on-site. This is not a remote or hybrid work from home role but will evolve into one The Qualifications Must be a self-starting individual who takes responsibility for his/her work and actively sees projects through to successful conclusions while maintaining a high level of communication with team members Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company team environment where it is expected that you will wear many hats with varied responsibilities Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to operate CRM and other systems Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax required Master's degree in Tax preferred CPA license in progress or interest in pursuing CPA certification strongly preferred The Benefits
