Tax Preparation Support ManagerOur Jackson Hewitt franchise is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Tax Preparation Support Manager to join our team in central Florida! In this leadership role, you'll play a key part in guiding tax professionals and ensuring clients receive accurate, efficient, and friendly tax preparation services. If you're passionate about taxes and love leading a team, this is the opportunity for you!Benefits include paid time off, training and development, bonus based on performance, and a flexible schedule.Responsibilities include overseeing and supporting tax preparation staff to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality service; training, mentoring, and developing tax preparers on current tax laws, procedures, and best practices; managing daily office operations and ensuring smooth workflow during peak tax season; reviewing completed tax returns for accuracy and IRS compliance; resolving client inquiries, concerns, and escalated tax-related issues professionally; monitoring team performance and providing coaching and feedback to drive productivity; and ensuring adherence to Jackson Hewitt's policies, procedures, and quality standards.Requirements include prior experience in tax preparation, accounting, or a related financial field; previous supervisory or management experience preferred; strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and IRS regulations; excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal work environment; proficiency with tax software and basic computer applications; and PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) required or ability to obtain one.Jackson Hewitt is one of the nation's largest and most trusted tax preparation service providers, with decades of experience helping millions of Americans navigate tax season with confidence.
