No more than 3 jobs in the past 10 yearsResponsibilities of the Tax Manager:Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standardsPlan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resourcesWork directly with clients to build and maintain relationshipsPerform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papersPerform tax research projectsCommunicate with clients and team members regarding project status, client opportunities and other mattersProvide training, direction, and supervision to teamMaintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specializationBuild new client relationships and maintain existing relationshipsManage book of business, including budgets and production goalsEngage in consulting and special projects as requested by management and clientsRequirements of the Tax Manager:BSBA in AccountingCPA Certification required7+ years of experience in public accountingAbility to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganized and detail orientedWorking knowledge of accounting and auditing principlesExperience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, ProSystem fx TaxKey Requirements:Hybrid scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office.No sponsorships or visa holders.
