We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. This individual will oversee tax engagements, review complex returns, provide tax planning and advisory services, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services
• Research complex tax issues and develop practical solutions
• Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
• Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff and senior accountants
• Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and deliverables
• Assist clients with IRS and state tax notices and examinations
• Identify opportunities to improve client tax strategies and financial outcomes
• Support business development initiatives and client retention efforts

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience with Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S
• Experience reviewing returns and managing client engagements
• Knowledge of tax planning, research, and compliance
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
