Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
- Lead tax planning, consulting, and research to minimize client tax exposure
- Serve as primary client contact, overseeing multiple engagements for deadlines, budgets, and quality
- Supervise and mentor tax staff, and assist with IRS/state audits and correspondence
- Collaborate with leadership on firm initiatives and stay current on tax law changes
Comp: Up to 155K
Full-time/ Direct-hire
On-site in San Francisco office
- 10-15+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (Master's in Taxation preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Proven leadership/management experience
- Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office (Lacerte a plus)
- Experience with complex tax planning and high-net-worth clients strongly desired
