About the Role

As a Tax Manager, you will play a key leadership role in managing and delivering tax engagements for clients across various industries. This role will involve a combination of reviewing and preparing tax returns, managing client relationships, and supporting the development of staff within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and review complex tax engagements, including multi-state and specialized tax returns
• Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies tailored to client needs
• Review tax workpapers, returns, and client deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues
• Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
• Supervise, train, and develop associates and senior associates through ongoing coaching and feedback
• Research complex tax matters and provide practical recommendations and solutions
• Collaborate with Partners and leadership to support client service, engagement execution, and firm growth

What Were Looking For

• Experience: 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting
• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Certification: CPA or EA required
• Technical Skills: Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage engagements and develop staff
• Client Management: Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Tools: Proficiency in tax and accounting software systems
