An established CPA firm is seeking a Tax Manager to join its Tampa office. This is an opportunity to manage varied client relationships, provide proactive tax advice and develop a team, with flexible working arrangements and support for your professional growth.
The role
- Manage and review complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations and individuals.
- Provide year-round tax planning, consulting and advisory support.
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to improve their tax positions.
- Research complex tax issues and communicate clear, practical recommendations.
- Lead and mentor associates, supporting their technical and professional development.
- Work with firm leadership on practice development and client growth.
What you’ll bring
- A current CPA license.
- At least six years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry.
- Experience reviewing complex business and individual tax returns.
- Strong client service, communication and relationship management skills.
- An interest in coaching colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team.
- A commitment to professional development and integrity.
- A master’s degree in taxation is a plus.
