Tax Manager – Tampa, FL

Estimated base salary: $120,000–$150,000

An established CPA firm is seeking a Tax Manager to join its Tampa office. This is an opportunity to manage varied client relationships, provide proactive tax advice and develop a team, with flexible working arrangements and support for your professional growth.

The role

• Manage and review complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations and individuals.
• Provide year-round tax planning, consulting and advisory support.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to improve their tax positions.
• Research complex tax issues and communicate clear, practical recommendations.
• Lead and mentor associates, supporting their technical and professional development.
• Work with firm leadership on practice development and client growth.

What you’ll bring

• A current CPA license.
• At least six years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry.
• Experience reviewing complex business and individual tax returns.
• Strong client service, communication and relationship management skills.
• An interest in coaching colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team.
• A commitment to professional development and integrity.
• A master’s degree in taxation is a plus.
