Tax Manager

Tax Manager| Hybrid | Western MAA rapidly growing multi-state organization is seeking a Tax Manager to lead and improve its tax function. This is a newly created role due to continued expansion! This position will play a key role in centralizing tax processes, improving compliance infrastructure, supporting audits, and partnering cross-functionally with accounting, finance, and operations leadership.Main ResponsibilitiesManage multi-state sales & use tax compliance, filings, and paymentsOversee property tax filings, assessments, and related complianceLead IFTA reporting, filings, and reconciliationsSupport Canadian indirect tax complianceResearch tax regulations and monitor nexus across jurisdictionsLead audit support and respond to notices from tax authoritiesImprove tax processes, controls, and systemsPartner with accounting and operations teams on tax treatment and compliance mattersSupport tax technology enhancements and process automation initiativesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field5+ years of corporate tax or public accounting experience with strong indirect tax focusExperience with sales & use tax, property tax, and multi-state complianceCPA or MST preferredStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsWhy This Opportunity?Newly created, high-impact roleRapidly growing organization through acquisitions and expansionOpportunity to build and improve processesStrong leadership visibilityExcellent benefits and modern office environmentHybrid flexibilityIf you meet the minimum requirements and want to learn more about this opportunity, please email your resume to and reference SF All inquiries are confidential.
