The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax preparation and planning, as well as a strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.Duties would include:Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returnsConduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulationsLead engagements throughout all phases of accounting including tax research, tax planning and preparation of financial statementsDevelop tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and maximize tax benefitsAssist clients with tax-related inquiries and provide expert advice on tax mattersSupervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as neededBuild and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax-related issuesCollaborate with other members of the tax team and firm leadership to deliver exceptional service and value to clientsStay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate updates to clients and colleaguesQualifications:Bachelors / Masters in AccountingCPA or in process of completing CPA2-7 years of Tax Experience in a CPA FirmStrong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulationsExperience working with various size businesses across various industries preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team membersClient is offering a competitive salary that is dependent on experience, but will be above market value.
