We are a midsize CPA firm located in downtown San Francisco. We are about 60 employees total and growing. Our firm offers a range of tax, accounting, audit, CFO services, and more to a wide array of clients. We work with a mix of HNW/UHNW clients as well as mid to large private entities. We see many clients in the silicon valley areas, tech, private equity, real estate, construction, manufacturing. & distribution, and much more. We prefer people in the Bay Area, but we do have some remote capabilities for those a little further out.
We are looking for an experienced manager to work on a generalist client book, do return review, lead tax planning, and be a main point of contact for clients.
What you Need
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Active CPA or EA certification
- Ability to prep and review common tax returns
- 1040, 4065, 1120, 1120s, 1041, 706, 709, 990
- Strong understanding of complex tax issues
- 1031 exchanges, 754 step-ups, 704(b), 704(c), partnership re-org/restructures, etc.
- Strong track‑record of successful tax planning/tax strategy
- Expert client communication skills
