About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant (Associates, Seniors, and Managers) to join our growing team in Provo, Utah. This is a hybrid role offering a balance of in‑office collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate is a proactive tax professional who enjoys both technical work and client interaction, and who is ready to take ownership of engagements while mentoring junior team members.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing high‑quality tax planning and advisory services
- Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
- Lead tax engagements from planning through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Supervise, mentor, and review work of senior and staff accountants
- Stay current on tax law changes and proactively identify opportunities for clients
- Collaborate with leadership on workflow, process improvement, and client strategy
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of public accounting tax experience
- CPA license strongly preferred for Seniors/Managers (or actively working toward licensure)
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state taxation
- Experience managing multiple engagements and deadlines
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
- Experience with common tax software and accounting tools
