WHAT YOU WILL DO:- Prepare compiled financial statements (OCBOA – Tax; OCBOA – Cash) including financial statement disclosures and reporting efficiently and timely.
- Prepare Individual, C Corp, S Corp, Partnership, Fiduciary, Gift and Estate tax returns.
- Provide timely, high‑quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.
- Conduct in‑depth and complex tax research for clients across a variety of industries.
- Build on technical competence by staying current on trends, developments, and technical authorities; apply them accordingly.
- 5 years of public accounting experience in a firm specializing in high‑income clients, complex tax situations, and business clients.
- Experience preparing review and/or compiled financial statements.
- Knowledge of Massachusetts taxation and other New England states.
- Experience in fiduciary, gift and estate planning and taxation.
- Business planning experience.
- Ability to conduct online tax and accounting & reporting research and write technical memorandums.
- Experience with CCH products (plus).
- GAAP work experience (plus).
- CPA or working toward CPA (preferred).
- No overnight travel.
- 35‑hour work week (or less if desired), flexible hours, and ability to work remotely from home some of the time.
