Tax Manager OpportunityA well-respected and growing Bay Area CPA firm is looking to add an experienced Tax Manager to its team. This is a great opportunity for a public accounting professional who enjoys working with clients, mentoring a team, and being involved in the more technical and strategic side of tax.The firm has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality service and trusted tax advice to its clients. As the firm continues to grow, they are looking for a Tax Manager who can take ownership of client engagements, support and develop the tax team, and play an important role in the continued growth of the firm.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Tax Manager Responsibilities:Lead and oversee a team of Tax Seniors and ManagersReview individual, partnership, trust, and estate tax returnsWork with clients on tax planning, projections, and overall tax strategyResearch and advise on federal, state, and local tax mattersEnsure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax laws and regulationsReview staff and senior-level tax returns and provide guidance when neededWork directly with clients to understand their needs and provide practical tax solutionsHelp mentor and develop members of the tax teamCollaborate with firm leadership and play an active role in the continued growth of the practiceTax Manager Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldActive CPA license required7+ years of experience in public accountingStrong technical tax knowledge and experience reviewing tax returnsExperience with small business partnerships, individuals, trusts, and estate returns preferredStrong tax research, planning, and projection skillsExcellent communication and client relationship skillsComfortable leading and mentoring a teamAbility to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a public accounting environmentTax Manager Compensation & Benefits:$135,000-$175,000+ depending on experienceExcellent benefits packageHybrid or remote flexibilityOpportunity to work with a respected and growing CPA firmStrong client interaction and advisory opportunitiesLeadership role with the ability to make a meaningful impactOpportunity to grow with the firm and take on additional responsibilityIf you're an experienced Tax Manager who enjoys public accounting, working directly with clients, and helping develop a strong tax team, this could be a great next step for you.To be considered, please apply with your resume.
