We’re seeking a Tax Manager to lead our Erie-based team, oversee tax return quality, streamline workflows, and build a strong, collaborative team culture. This is an opportunity to step into a genuine leadership role where your decisions matter and your ideas can make a difference.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee tax return review, quality control, and final sign-off.
• Manage workflow, deadlines, and the seasonal tax preparation calendar.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development.
• Establish and maintain high standards for tax return accuracy and compliance.
• Build an efficient, supportive, and high-performing team.
• Improve processes and take ownership of day-to-day office operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Active CPA or EA credential in good standing.
• Strong tax review experience across Forms 1040, 1120-S, and 1065, including multistate returns.
• Proficiency in ATX or UltraTax; experience with other professional tax software will also be considered.
• Previous team management experience or a demonstrated ability to step into a leadership role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead both in-person and remote team members.
