Our client is hiring a Tax Manager to help manage the tax practice, set policy, review returns, collaborate with the business services team, and handle some of the more complex tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train, mentor, and supervise tax staff, providing continuous on-the-job training and technical updates
• Delegate effectively, review staff work, and provide constructive feedback to build technical expertise
• Guide clients through complex tax rules, identify tax-saving opportunities, and offer planning solutions
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring clear communication on engagements and deliverables
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies that improve workflow and reduce burnout

Required Qualifications:

• Active CPA license in good standing
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 6-8 years of experience as a CPA in public accounting
• 3-4 years of supervisory and review experience
• Business and personal tax experience
• Experience with CCH Axcess; familiarity with Autoflow, XCM Workflow, and Karbon a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship-building skills
• Comfortable thriving in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
