Tax Manager
Location: Fully Remote - must work time zone PST, 8am-5pm with the expectation to work 40 hours per week.
Salary: $120,000-$130,000 annually

What You'll Do:
• Lead and mentor a team of internal tax preparation professionals.
• Oversee workflow, performance, and training initiatives across the tax preparation function.
• Review and manage complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Serve as the final technical reviewer on complex tax matters and provide guidance to the team.
• Evaluate and improve tax preparation workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Leverage technology and automation to enhance the tax compliance process.
• Develop training materials and lead educational sessions on workflows and software processes.
• Manage tax audits, inquiries, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a comprehensive client service experience.
What You Bring:
• 5-8 years of progressive tax preparation and compliance experience.
• At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
• CPA or EA designation required.
• Experience with tax preparation and workflow tools, including platforms such as G-Suite, CRM systems, and UltraTax.
• Strong knowledge of corporate and personal tax planning strategies.
• Additional experience in accounting, finance advisory, and/or consulting services is highly valued.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
