Hybrid Schedule – 2 Days in Office

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Dallas, with 2 days per week in the office and the rest remote. You’ll get the collaboration and culture of an in-person team without giving up the flexibility professionals need today.

Responsibilities:

Manage tax compliance and planning engagements for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and privately held businesses.

Review complex federal and state tax returns.

Serve as a primary client contact and trusted advisor.

Identify tax planning strategies and opportunities for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.

Manage engagement deadlines, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.

Supervise, coach, and mentor Tax Seniors, Supervisors, and Associates.

Review workpapers and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Research tax issues and communicate findings clearly to clients and internal teams.

Work closely with partners on client strategy, advisory work, and firm growth.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

5+ years of public accounting tax experience.

Prior experience reviewing tax returns and managing client engagements.

CPA or EA strongly preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong technical tax knowledge across individuals and business entities.

Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.

Strong project management and organizational ability.

Ability to lead teams and mentor junior professionals.

Comfortable managing multiple engagements in a deadline-driven environment.

High integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.

Preferred Credentials:

Master’s in Tax preferred.

CPA preferred.

Experience with UltraTax, CCH, RIA Checkpoint, QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and practice management software preferred.
