Hybrid Schedule – 2 Days in Office
This is a hybrid Tax Manager opportunity based in Los Angeles, with 2 days per week in the office and the remainder remote. You’ll have the benefit of in-person collaboration while still enjoying meaningful flexibility.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, estates, and high-net-worth clients.
- Lead tax planning and compliance engagements from start to finish.
- Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies and planning opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Supervise, train, and develop Tax Seniors, Supervisors, and Associates.
- Review workpapers, returns, and supporting schedules for accuracy and technical quality.
- Manage engagement budgets, deadlines, client communication, and internal workflow.
- Research federal, state, and local tax matters, including California-specific tax issues.
- Collaborate with partners on complex client matters and firm initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Strong experience reviewing returns and managing tax engagements.
- CPA or EA strongly preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong technical knowledge of individual and business taxation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and internal teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable in a hybrid work environment.
Preferred Credentials:
- Master’s in Tax preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience with UltraTax, CCH, Lacerte, RIA Checkpoint, QuickBooks, Excel, and practice management software preferred.
