Tax Manager - Personal Tax AdvisoryHybrid | Cleveland, OH or Wooster, OHThis role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys working closely with individuals, families, and trusts on both compliance and planning. You'll take ownership of client engagements, lead staff, and play a key role in client relationships and technical tax work with increasing advisory and leadership responsibility over time.What You'll DoManage and review individual, trust, and fiduciary tax engagements from start to finishOversee tax return preparation, planning, and workflow across engagementsResearch and resolve complex tax issues (federal, state, and local)Serve as a key point of contact for client tax mattersIdentify planning opportunities and improve client tax positionsLead, mentor, and review the work of junior staffEnsure accuracy, deadlines, and quality across all deliverablesSupport engagement planning and client communicationsStay current on tax law changes and technical developmentsContribute to proposals and client development effortsWhat We're Looking For4+ years of tax experience (individual, trust, or fiduciary focus preferred)CPA preferred or in progressStrong tax research and analytical skillsExperience reviewing returns and managing multiple deadlinesConfident communicator with both clients and internal teamsDetail-oriented, organized, and team-focusedSpartan Placements is an equal opportunity employer.
