Position Overview
- We are seeking a hands-on Tax Manager to lead engagements, oversee two Senior Accountants, and serve as a key technical resource across the firm. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys close-knit team culture, meaningful client relationships, and a balanced, sustainable work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and review complex tax returns for businesses (S-corps, partnerships, LLCs, C-corps) and high-net-worth individuals
- Oversee, mentor, and develop two Senior Accountants
- Lead day-to-day client communication and provide proactive tax guidance
- Conduct technical research, resolve tax issues, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage workflow, deadlines, and work allocation across the tax team
- Partner with leadership on process improvements and firm growth initiatives
- Participate in tax planning and advisory projects for business owners and their entities
