• Compensation: $100,000-$120,000 base salary + eligibility to earn a 12% bonus

LaSalle Network is hiring for a Tax Manager in Evanston, IL. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to take ownership of client relationships, lead high-impact projects and play a key role in a growing public accounting environment. The ideal Tax Manager is a strategic thinker, trusted advisor and strong leader who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused culture. What's the Job?

• Prepare and review complex corporate, partnership, S-corporation, consolidated, individual and trust tax returns

• Lead tax research projects requiring advanced technical expertise

• Manage client engagements while ensuring deadlines and budgets are consistently met

• Oversee budgeting, billing and work-in-progress management

• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-up

• Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend additional services

• Analyze IRS, state and local tax notices and draft responses

• Supervise, mentor and develop staff accountants

• Lead formal training initiatives and support team development

• Participate in business development and community networking activities

• Deliver exceptional client service aligned with THG's One Firm Way approach

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 10+ years of tax and public accounting experience

• CPA certification preferred

• Advanced knowledge of corporate, partnership and individual taxation

• Experience managing client relationships and engagement profitability

• Strong leadership, delegation and coaching abilities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Outstanding organizational and project management skills

• Proficiency with CCH Axcess or equivalent tax software

• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
