**Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance and providing strategic tax guidance to our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to navigate complex tax scenarios to optimize tax outcomes for our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the tax compliance process for individual and corporate clients.Prepare and review federal and state tax returns accurately and timely.Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to minimize tax liabilities.Conduct research on tax issues and advise clients on tax strategies and implications.Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to clients.Manage and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated tax strategies across the organization.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA (Certified Public Accountant) required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or public accounting.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.BenefitsSalary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 Flexible work scheduleComplimentary covered parkingBonus programCPA Exam fee reimbursement and study materialsPaid professional dues and continuing educationGenerous paid time off and holidays401(k) plan with FMC matching contributionsHealth and disability insurance
