An established, highly regarded public accounting firm in Naperville is adding a Tax Manager. The work

You will handle a generalist client base across banking, manufacturing, construction (their largest niche), professional services, attorneys, and physicians. Expect real variety, real client ownership, and direct partner access.

• Manage tax compliance and planning engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Review returns and supervise, mentor, and develop staff and seniors
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for your clients
• Research technical issues and advise on planning opportunities
• Build a book of business over time, with genuine mentorship and support in doing so

What they are looking for

• 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting
• CPA or CPA eligible
• Strong technical foundation across multiple entity types
• Someone who wants to invest 20 plus years somewhere and build something, not a stepping stone
