Position Title: Tax Manager (Partner Track)

We're partnering with a highly respected public accounting firm seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its leadership team with a defined path to Partnership. Salary Range: $140,000–$180,000 DOE

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex individual, trust, partnership, and business tax returns
  • Lead tax planning engagements and provide strategic recommendations to clients
  • Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
  • Review work prepared by junior accountants and provide mentorship
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and proactively advise clients
  • Handle complex tax research and compliance matters
  • Support firm growth through strong client service and relationship management
  • Take ownership of client engagements and contribute to team development

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of public accounting experience is required
  • Strong experience preparing tax returns is required
  • Desire to become partner within 1 year is required
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • CPA certification is required
  • Proficiency in Word and Outlook is required
  • Experience in public accounting is required
  • Experience with additional software is preferred
