Job Title: Tax Manager
In this role, the Tax Manager will manage and review the compliance filings, provide strategic tax advice, and manage income tax audits while collaborating closely with team members to deliver timely and accurate work products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee tax planning and compliance for:

- High-net-worth individuals
- Trusts
- Closely held business (C Corporations, S Corporations, and Partnerships)
- Provide analysis and recommendations on tax structuring and tax saving opportunities.
- Manage workflow, engagement resources, and billing.
- Maintain and develop client relationships
- Interact closely with clients’ other advisors, such as attorneys and financial advisors.
- Train and supervise staff, including reviewing and evaluating their work.
- Monitor changes in tax rules and regulations and collaborate with the team to communicate and implement changes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA or JD certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting or related accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing tax planning initiative and tax reporting process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and proactive approach to team collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CCH Axcess tax software.
- Additional experience with other tax software or financial planning tools.
