Key Responsibilities
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and estates.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
- Oversee tax return preparation, including complex estate (Form 706), gift (Form 709), and fiduciary (Form 1041) returns.
- Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring efficient delegation, supervision, and timely completion.
- Conduct technical tax reviews and approve all tax returns.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing client relationships and external networks.
- Respond to federal and state tax notices and represent clients in audits.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
- Communicate complex tax matters clearly to clients and non-tax professionals.
- Stay updated on evolving tax laws and best practices to enhance client service and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax.
- CPA, EA, preferred.
- 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting with a focus on high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong expertise in estate, gift, and fiduciary taxation.
- Proven ability to research tax issues and develop strategic tax planning solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-level projects efficiently.
- Experienced in public accounting management and client service excellence.
