Onsite Full Time General

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our growing team of professionals as a Tax Manager. Our firm, based in Los Angeles, specializes in entertainment business management and serves a diverse portfolio of high net worth individuals and executives in the industry, including actors, musicians, writers, directors, producers, digital creators, and foreign entertainers working in the United States. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and holiday pay. Compensation is DOE.

About the Position:

The Tax Manager is responsible for reviewing a high volume of tax returns, both Federal and State, while developing and leading a team of junior staff. The role reviews several hundred returns each year and prepares year-end projections for several hundred clients.

Most of our clients earn through loan-out corporations, so the work involves coordinating entity and individual returns together rather than in isolation. Our client base also includes a substantial and growing roster of digital creators and YouTubers, whose income spans AdSense, brand sponsorships, merchandise, and licensing across multiple entities and jurisdictions. Touring musicians, athletes, and on-location talent generate nonresident filings across many states in a single year. On the international side, we handle US filings for foreign entertainers performing in the United States and for domestic clients with foreign entities and income streams, which brings a variety of foreign filings such as forms 8840, 8858, 5471, 5472, among others.

The Tax Manager will work closely with our Senior Management, Business Management, and Tax departments to meet the needs of the firm.
