Rose, Snyder & Jacobs LLP is seeking a Tax Manager with 5-10+ years of experience to join our Core Tax Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of tax matters, including pass-through entities, C-Corporations, multi-state returns, and individual tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze pass-throughs, individual, and C-Corp tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax codes, laws and regulations, including multi-state returns
- Manage day-to-day compliance processes, ensuring timely and accurate filings across multiple entity types
- Supervise, train, and review the work of tax staff, promoting professional development and maintaining high standards of accuracy and accountability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounting and Audit) to ensure data integrity and streamline tax data workflows
- Assist in responding to IRS and state tax authority inquiries, audits, and notices
- Stay current on federal, state, and local tax developments and assess potential impacts to the firm and clients
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 5-10+ years in public accounting, including managing complex tax engagements and teams
- CPA or EA license required
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, research tools, and tax software such as CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement, and CCH XCM
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days per week in our Encino office) and adapt to busy season demands.

- Salary Range: $130k-$160k (commensurate with experience and expertise)
- Signing and Annual Bonus Eligible
